Tile quantity formula

Tiles = Area ÷ Tile size × (1 + Wastage%). Tile size includes grout gap. Boxes = Tiles ÷ 10 (rounded up).

How much wastage should I add?
10% is standard for straight layouts. Use 15–20% for diagonal patterns or irregular cuts.
How many tiles per box?
We assume 10 tiles per box by default — adjust your order with your supplier's box count.
